Reading for Pleasure

Status:Active, open to new members
When: Monthly on Monday afternoons 2:00 pm
4th Monday of the month
Venue: Honiton Methodist Hall

Our group meets on the 4th Monday of every month, from 2-4pm at the Methodist Hall in Chapel St., Honiton. (There is a small charge for this hall & the loan of the books so each member contributes a small amount each year).

Our books are supplied in sets of 10 by Devon County Library Service. Each year members choose the books they would like to read from a list supplied by the library service as well as a few 'wild cards '!

Over the years we have read a wide variety of titles, many by authors new to the group. Each book always generates a lot of discussion & differing views! We end the afternoon with refreshments when we swap books we have brought to the session or recommend other books we have read during the month.
